How pay works here
No figures on this page, and none ever. No salary, no rate, no bonus amount, no percentage. The page explains the parts. Your own numbers are in your own package and in your agreement.
Pay here has up to three parts. Every role has the first two. Some roles have the third.
1. Your base
The part that does not change month to month.
- Your base is set on the country you live in.
- Your own number is in your agreement, and your agreement is the only place it is set.
- Paid in USD.
2. Your coverage bonus
Part of your monthly amount rather than something added on top of it.
The bonus pays for one thing: that the work keeps moving without the Interim CEO being drawn into the detail, whether she is at her desk or away from the business.
Full time earns the whole monthly amount. Part time earns half of it.
How the coverage bonus works has the rest: what it pays for, how it is earned, and what happens in a month that falls short.
3. Sales commission, on the roles that have it
The part that moves. If your role earns commission, you earn it by selling, and you earn nothing from it if you do not sell. Nothing about your base or your bonus depends on it.
Commission is worked out on the cash collected that month, never on what was signed, and it is paid the month after. A client pays in January, and your commission on that payment reaches you in February.
How sales commission works has the rest: what sets your tier, what your rate is worked out on, and when a deal counts.
Telling us what you want
Tell us the salary you want and we will tell you whether it works. We do little negotiation, because it takes the stress off everyone.
It comes up on the first call, so there is nothing to work out before then. Give us a single number or a range, whichever you would rather.
Two things that are true for everybody
- Your numbers are in your agreement. Not on a page, not in an email, not in something somebody said on a call. If it is not in your agreement, it is not your pay.
- Pay is not discussed between people here. Your pay is set on where you live and on the role you do, so one person's number tells you nothing about another's.
Where your own numbers live
In your own package, and in the agreement you sign.
