The technology you need to work here

The setup is the same for every role here, so it lives on one page rather than on each of them. Nothing on this page changes from role to role.

This is the basic setup. It is the least your equipment has to do, and anything more expensive than this is fine.

Computer

1. An Intel Core i5 or AMD Ryzen 5 processor.
2. 8GB of RAM at the very least. 16GB is preferred.
3. Windows 10, Windows 11, or macOS.
4. A working webcam and microphone.

Internet

1. At least 20 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.
2. 50 Mbps or more is preferred, for video calls and running several things at once.
3. A stable connection. A wired connection is preferred.
4. A second way online as a backup: a mobile hotspot, pocket WiFi, or a second provider.

Power

1. A UPS for the modem and router.
2. A power station, or a laptop with enough battery to keep going.
3. Something that keeps you working through an outage.

Audio

1. A noise cancelling headset with a microphone.
2. Audio clear enough for meetings and client calls.

Your workspace

1. A quiet, professional space at home.
2. Little background noise and few distractions.
3. Enough light for video meetings.
